Rules and FAQ

The visit goes better when everyone knows the house rules first.

Read this before drop-off, before the bus arrives, or before your party group walks through the door.

We have 2 basic rules

  • Treat others the way you would like to be treated.
  • Use your brain while visiting us.

House Rules

All other rules are just elaborations on those 2 basics.

The last item is not technically a rule, but it is better to know before you check in.

  • Arrive, skate, and leave as a group.
  • Do not leave anyone behind.
  • Stay in skates until your ride has arrived.
  • Do not horseplay or use abusive language.
  • Admissions are non-refundable. In limited cases and with manager approval, the rink may exchange admission for another session.

Bag Policy

Know what is allowed before you walk in.

Skater Commitment

As a Roller City skater, I commit to:

  • Skate in control.
  • Know who is around me.
  • Watch out for smaller skaters.
  • Use music and conversation that fits the venue.
  • Demonstrate decency to all guests and staff.
  • Keep food, drink, and gum outside the rink and skate floor.

Quick Answers

FAQ

Do you have age restrictions?

Saturday sessions and select special events are reserved for children under 12 unless they attend with a parent or guardian. Any child 12 or older may enter with their guardian. Everyone is still expected to follow the rink rules or leave without a refund.

Can I bring outside food or drinks?

Not during regular public sessions. Cake and ice cream are allowed for booked parties and private events, but outside food and drinks are otherwise not permitted.

Can I rent skates?

Yes. Standard quad skates are available with admission, and speed skates may be available as an upgrade depending on size and inventory.

Will you hold birthday presents while we skate?

Roller City does not recommend bringing gifts during public sessions. Table space is limited to your reserved slot, and the bag policy makes it easier to keep gift items in your vehicle until the end of the party.

Can I leave and come back during the same session?

No. Admission covers entry for that session only, and re-entry is not guaranteed once you leave the building.

Can I bring my own skates?

Yes, as long as they are safe for indoor rink use. Staff may inspect wheels or hardware before you enter the floor.

Can I book the whole rink?

Yes. Private events are available on weekdays and select time slots. Check the private-events page for the current packages and hours.
